Howard’s main field of practice is Personal Injury law and he has considerable experience in acting for both Claimants and Defendants in workplace, road traffic and highways claims, as well as associated areas such as MIB work and CRU and CICA Appeals.

He has a particular interest in workplace accidents (involving the application of the "six pack" regulations) and industrial disease cases (especially those involving upper limb disorders, deafness and dermatitis).

Having been a tenant at Deans Court Chambers, Manchester from 2001-2005, Howard has a detailed knowledge of the practices and personnel of the Courts on the Northern Circuit and continues to appear in them on a regular basis.

Howard also has extensive experience of appearing in Employment Tribunals and advising on unfair dismissal and contractual claims generally.
