Melissa worked from 2002 to 2007 between cases at the War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague and the Special Court for Sierra Leone, Freetown. She appeared in the Milosevic case, and in other cases before the War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague. In 2004-2005, and 2006, she took time out from The Hague to work for the Office of the Prosecutor at the Special Court for Sierra Leone, Freetown, appearing in the Brima and others case there.
Melissa is currently employed as a senior counsel at the Aegis Trust working full-time on the investigation and prosecution of serious international crimes. She is not presently available to accept instructions through Chambers.
