Clive qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and joined Farrar’s Building in September 2005. As a solicitor Clive was a solicitor advocate and a member of the Law society’s clinical negligence and personal injury panels.
He has experience of conducting a variety of clinical negligence cases including failure to refer claims, cerebral palsy claims, surgical negligence claims, dental negligence claims, and claims against general practitioners. His personal injury caseload includes road traffic cases, industrial disease claims, CICA claims and accidents at work. He has written a number of articles for the Solicitor’s Journal, the New Law Journal and the Journal of Personal Injury Law. He is the author of "Fatal Accidents" published by the Law Society and is coauthoring (with Linda Lee from AVMA) a book entitled "Clinical Negligence" which will be published in 2007. His article on domestic abuse perpetrators, which appeared in the Solicitors Journal on 12th October 2007, can be viewed by clicking on 'Challenging Abuse'.
Clive is a visiting lecturer at the College of Law and also lectures for Central Law Training. He sits as a Deputy District Judge, a role in which he has a special interest in family and children law.
