Members of Farrar's Building regularly act for claimants and defendants in actions involving all major professions. Members of Chambers advise on and appear in cases concerning doctors and other clinical professionals, solicitors, barristers, accountants, auditors, banks, financial advisers, stockbrokers, insurance brokers, architects, surveyors, valuers and engineers.

Furthermore Farrar's Building has substantial experience of both Chairing and appearing before a range of Disciplinary Tribunals, as recognised by the Legal 500.

Andrew Hopper QC is regarded as the foremost expert of his generation on the law and practice related to the regulation of solicitors. Andrew first acted for a solicitor before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in 1975 and is the owner of a unique electronically searchable database of all the published decisions of the SDT from approximately 1989; he is also the co-author of the Solicitor's Handbook 2008 and 2009 containing in one place all the professional rules to which solicitors are subject, as well as guidance about the regulatory system generally. Geoffrey Williams QC, Ian Ridd, Andrew Peebles and Peter Freeman continue to handle a wide range of cases in the SDT and High Court, including interventions and Judicial Review.

Farrar's Building is particularly active in the Sports Disciplinary Tribunal field. Gerard Elias QC was appointed as Chairman of Sport Resolutions UK. in 2007; Patrick Harrington QC was Vice-President of the National Anti- Doping Panel for 2008/9 and remains a Panel Member. Chambers provide legally qualified Chairmen for disciplinary panels covering a wide range of Sport Governing Bodies, such as the English Cricket Board's Disciplinary Commission.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors rely on expertise found within Farrar's. Geoffrey Williams QC not only prosecutes members appearing before its disciplinary Tribunal, but is also the author of ‘Professional Conduct for Chartered Surveyors'.

Ian Ridd has been appointed as a member and Deputy Chairman of the Association of  Chartered Certified Accountants' disciplinary and regulatory committees.
