A mini pupillage at Farrar's Building offers you an opportunity to gain an impression of the work which we do and the atmosphere in chambers. It is also an opportunity for us to meet you.

We offer mini pupillages of 3 days which are not formally assessed. They are usually during the Easter and summer university vacations, although they can be arranged at other times. During your time with us you will work shadow barristers at court and in chambers. We try to ensure that at least some of your time is spent with the more junior members of chambers in order that you can gain a realistic view of life as a junior tenant. This also provides you with an opportunity to ask any questions you have about a career at the Bar.

Applicants for mini pupillage should have begun or completed a course of higher education. We are unable to offer work experience for school children.

If you would like a mini pupillage with us then please send us a copy of your CV together with a covering letter. Send your application by email to minipupillage@farrarsbuilding.co.uk with the subject marked as "Application for mini pupillage". Applications should be submitted on or before 30 September.

We aim to consider all the applications received in October and contact applicants with the outcome shortly after we have reached a decision.
