Recent Cases
In 2006 members of Chambers were in the following significant discrimination cases:
Moyhing v Barts & the London NHS Trust [2006] IRLR 860, EAT: a case involving sex discrimination against a male student nurse, funded by the EOC, which generated significant press interest
Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd v Griffiths-Henry [2006] IRLR 865, EAT concerning the burden of proof in discrimination cases.
B’Bwona v FHA (Croydon ET 2003-2006): a race discrimination case dismissed in its entirety with a costs order of £100,000 against the claimant after 50 hearing days spread over 3 years.
