Tenancy


Applications from outside candidates at all levels of call are welcomed and will be considered by the tenancy committee. Expressions of interest should be in writing, either by post to the tenancy committee or by email to tenancy@farrarsbuilding.co.uk. All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Offers of a tenancy at Farrar’s Building are based on merit. Because of the rigour of our pupil selection programme priority is given to incumbent pupils who, if they wish to be considered, are interviewed in July with a view to being offered a tenancy at the conclusion of their pupillage at the end of September.

Interviews are conducted by the committee, who make a recommendation to chambers having considered reports from pupil supervisors. Following consideration of representations, if any, from members of chambers, the final decision is communicated to applicants by the Head of Chambers.
