Kamran is an experienced trial advocate and appears in court daily for all types of interim hearings and trials across all tracks. He has a particular focus on personal injury, regulatory and disciplinary and housing law.

Kamran also has a busy paperwork practice and is regularly instructed to advise on liability, quantum, tactics and procedure, as well as to draft pleadings.

Kamran prides himself on his ability to provide practical advice and make his clients feel at ease.

Personal Injury

Kamran has a strong personal injury practice. He acts for claimants and defendants in RTA, public liability and employers’ liability cases, and is regularly instructed in those cases where there is a central focus on fundamental dishonesty, LVI and/or associated elements of fraud.

Kamran is happy to draft pleadings and schedules and provide advice in writing or in conference, all within a quick turnaround time.

Civil Fraud

Kamran is frequently instructed in personal injury cases where all types of dishonesty are alleged. He represents Claimants and Defendants in equal measure, and is able to allege and defend such allegations at trial with vigour.

Kamran also deals with fraud cases at an early stage, providing robust analysis and advice at conference. As well as this, he is happy to draft all types of pleadings.

Credit Hire

Kamran is well-versed with credit hire matters including issues of need, enforceability, period, impecuniosity, intervention and rate. He undertakes work for both claimants and defendants, and is able to deal with shortcomings in evidence and the challenges arising from that. He is also happy to advise on all issues relating to credit hire.

Regulatory & Disciplinary

Kamran is regularly instructed on multi-day substantive Fitness to Practice hearings by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, in cases involving mental health issues and serious criminal allegations. Following a recent 9-day trial, Kamran successfully applied for a Panel of the Fitness to Practice Committee to recuse itself on the grounds of bias.

Kamran has also appeared for the General Optical Council, and is happy to accept instructions from all regulators as well as individuals facing regulatory charges.

Kamran was previously a part of the London Fire Brigade junior counsel team in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.

Clinical Negligence

Kamran is keen to develop his practice in this area and accepts instructions for claimants and defendants.

General Common Law

Kamran acts for landlords and tenants in disrepair and possession matters relating to residential properties. He is able to guide individuals through this process, and has been commended for his sensitive but practical approach to navigating these types of cases.

He is also happy to accept instructions in all types of general common law matters.

Insurance

Kamran is developing his practice in this area and is happy to accept instructions in all types of interlocutory and substantive property damage claims.

Kamran enjoys nearly every sport that exists. Unfortunately, he is much better at watching than playing. He takes great pride in following the ups and downs of Liverpool FC. Kamran also loves travelling and going on long walks with his little West Highland Terrier, Alfie.
