Olivia joined Farrar’s Building in October 2026 following the successful completion of her pupillage. She accepts instructions across all of Chambers’ core areas of practice.
Olivia appears in court on an almost daily basis and accepts instructions from both claimants and defendants in a range of matters, including small claims, fast track trials, interim applications and costs hearings. She also maintains a busy paperwork practice and is available to advise on quantum, liability and tactics, as well as to draft pleadings, schedules and counter-schedules.
Prior to pupillage, Olivia worked as a judicial assistant to the Lady Chief Justice in the Court of Appeal.
As a judicial assistant, Olivia worked on some of the most high-profile and prominent public and criminal law appeals at the time, including:
- R v Urfan Sharif & Ors [2025] EWCA Crim 372 (Sara Sharif murder sentence appeals);
- Hallam & Ors v R [2025] EWCA Crim 199 (‘Just Stop Oil’ sentencing appeals);
- Stephen Yaxley-Lennon v HM Solicitor General & Anor [2025] EWCA Civ 476 (‘Tommy Robinson’ appeal against sanction for contempt of court);
- Constance Marten & Anor v R [2025] EWCA Crim 241;
- ABJ v R and BDN v R [2024] EWCA Crim 1597 (concerning s12(1A) Terrorism Act; upheld in the Supreme Court).
Olivia graduated from the Bar Practice Course (BPC) with an Outstanding grade, and a Distinction in an integrated Master of Laws (LLM). She previously obtained a Distinction in the PGDL, an MSc in International Relations with Distinction, and a BA in History from University College London. Throughout her academic career she has received numerous accolades, including for the highest cohort marks for both of her Masters’ dissertations.
Personal Injury
Personal injury is a fundamental component of Olivia’s practice. Olivia maintains a busy court-based practice, and accepts instructions for both claimants and defendants across the full spectrum of personal injury matters. Olivia also sustains a strong paperwork practice, and is comfortable advising on liability, quantum, causation, evidential issues and litigation tactics.
She also has experience acting in matters involving child claimants. She is available to appear in Infant Approval Hearings or produce written advice on quantum.
Clinical Negligence
Olivia welcomes instructions on behalf of both claimants and defendants in clinical negligence matters. During pupillage, Olivia gained exposure to a broad range of fatal and non-fatal cases, including matters of delayed / wrongful diagnosis and surgical negligence.
Credit Hire
Olivia is regularly instructed in credit hire matters for both claimants and defendants, and has considerable experience in handling all aspects of credit hire.
Professional Discipline & Regulation
Olivia is developing a practice in regulatory and disciplinary law, and is happy to accept instructions across this area.
Property Damage
Olivia accepts instructions for both claimants and defendants, and is available to advise at all stages of litigation or to appear at trial.

Personal Interests
An avid traveller, Olivia’s volunteer work for the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation charity has taken her to 40 American states. Last summer, Olivia was pleased to have attended her 10th international fundraising event for the charity, in Arizona.
