Rhiannon has a balanced practice between Claimant and Defendant work in all types of serious injury claims.

She has particular expertise in brain and spinal injury cases involving complex issues of quantum. She is experienced in cases involving children. She has done many upper and lower limb amputation claims dealing with the most up to date prosthetic componentry. Her practice also encompasses fatal accident and sexual abuse claims. Her clinical negligence work is predominantly for Claimants. She has particular expertise in birth injury claims, spinal injury claims and cardiac injuries.

Clinical Negligence

Rhiannon is instructed to advise and represent patients and their families in clinical negligence cases. Her caseload covers a wide spectrum of medical accidents, including birth trauma, delayed diagnosis, failure to diagnose cardiac conditions and a range of spinal injury cases.

Personal Injury

Rhiannon acts for both Claimants and Defendants in the whole spectrum of catastrophic injury claims. She has wide experience of all liability issues involved in motor claims, employers’ liability and public liability claims. She has particular expertise in claims involving spinal injuries, brain injuries and amputation (both lower and upper limb). She is regularly instructed in child injury claims.

At the time the highest value tetraplegic claim run to trial in the UK. Trial before Eady J lasted 35 days. Represented the Claimant as junior counsel at first instance and at compromised appeal.
