Sorcha joined chambers as a Pupil in October 2020. During the first four months of her pupillage, Sorcha will be under the supervision of Joshua Hedgman. She will gain experience in Chambers’ core practice areas including personal injury and employment.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Sorcha worked as a Paralegal specialising in employment law. She assisted on a wide range of cases including unfair dismissals, whistleblowing, and discrimination.  She also represented clients in Tribunal at a number of preliminary hearings.

During her studies, Sorcha was a keen mooter and debater. In 2017, she was selected to represent her university at an international mooting competition held in India. Sorcha then went on to win the annual Hunt Cup Debating Competition, founded by Lord Hunt.

Personal Interests

In her spare time, Sorcha enjoys baking, going to the theatre, and Zumba. She also likes to visit her home county of Cumbria whenever she can.
