Our work spans judicial review, public inquiries, inquests, statutory appeals, and related areas including immigration and asylum, human trafficking and detention, information law, sanctions and education. Our clients benefit from clear, timely and effective advice, often at short notice and in high-pressure situations.
Members are experienced in urgent applications and drafting, with several holding the highest levels of security clearance. They are regularly instructed matters of national importance.
We have members on both the Attorney General’s Civil Panel Counsel, and Public International Law Panel. Inquests
We represent clients in some of the most complex and sensitive inquests, including deaths in custody, healthcare, military service, terrorism, and police interventions. We recognise that these proceedings often take place at times of significant emotional strain. Our members bring a calm, clear and informed approach.
We also have members who sit as Assistant Coroners, providing valuable insight into coronial decision-making and procedure.

Members are experienced in in handling large-scale and document-heavy inquiries, including complex disclosure exercises across multiple platforms, often as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
Human Trafficking & Detention
We act for both government bodies and individuals in matters involving trafficking, immigration detention, asylum support, and challenges before the National Referral Mechanism. Our team is adept at managing the intersection between public and private law, and in supporting vulnerable witnesses.
Education
We advise and represent students, schools, and public authorities across the education sector, including in student disciplinary hearings, SEND Tribunal appeals, and challenges relating to admissions, exclusions, and exam results. Our experience in complimentary areas such as employment and discrimination law, enhances the advice and representation that we can provide.
