Paul Lewis KC obtains acquittal for his client after five week murder and manslaughter trial

In Walsall, March 2025, a fatal stabbing occurred, leading to five men being charged with murder.

After some five weeks of evidence at Wolverhampton Crown Court, Paul Lewis K.C. successfully submitted that there was no case to answer upon the charges of murder and manslaughter that his client faced. The trial judge directed his client’s acquittal on all counts.

The trial continues against four remaining defendants.
